A&G Energy Transition Tech Fund consolidates its investment strategy in energy transition technology

Alejandro Núñez, Managing Partner and Head of Alternative Investments at A&G Global Investors, and Juan Diego Bernal, Managing Director of the A&G Energy Transition Tech Fund, discuss the fund’s progress and its key milestones in an interview with Capital & Corporate.
Launched in 2022, the fund has €140 million in commitments and has made nine investments, focusing on technology companies driving decarbonisation and the transformation of the energy and industrial sectors.
Among its most recent milestones is the fund’s first divestment, with the sale of Green Eagle to Copilot Capital, which has generated a return of more than double the capital invested and an annualised net return of close to 40 per cent. Also noteworthy are the recent reinvestment in Open Cosmos and the growth prospects of a diversified portfolio, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and the development of technological solutions.
